June 1, 2025 — June brings a welcome softening. After the intensity of retrograde season, we’ve regained momentum and begun to emerge from hibernation—stirred by uncertainty, but ready to forge new paths. Courage is returning, along with clarity.

Venus begins the month conjunct Chiron in a vulnerable transit that invites deep relational healing. As she shifts into Taurus, Venus evokes sensuality and slowness. We’re remembering our tenderness—why we love the Earth, and each other. Yet as Pluto squares Venus, emotional and financial undercurrents may stir crisis and transformation. What isn’t rooted in real value may crack open for renewal.

The most significant transit this month is Jupiter’s ingress into Cancer, changing signs for the first time in a year. The planet of expansion leaves behind Gemini’s overstimulation, turning our focus toward home, nourishment, family, and belonging. It’s a beautiful placement for Jupiter—a soothing contrast to the ongoing onslaught of media, technology, and information overload.

This month invites us to sink into feeling and embodiment—but not without friction. Jupiter forms tense aspects to both Saturn and Neptune. The lord of karma challenges our illusions, asking us to ground into honesty and recalibrate our dreams. If our visions are unmoored from reality, we’ll feel the consequences. It’s time to shed false ideals and root deeper into what’s true.

Pleasure, self-worth, and aligned values are key now. Even as we accelerate into the future, the planets are calling us to slow down and pay attention—to enjoy the view and make intentional choices. If we haven’t been living by our values, this is the time to start. Life is not about success at the expense of others. It’s about meaning, care, connection with loved ones, and compassionate action. More than ever, we’re meant to feel a sense of profound belonging—to ourselves, to one another, and to the Earth.

JUNE 2025 TRANSITS

VENUS CONJUNCT CHIRON

Venus conjoins Chiron on June 1, eliciting the rawness of our hearts. Old wounds or insecurities may rise to the surface for healing. We can take this opportunity to feel our grief, humanness, and empathy, and to move deeper into intimacy and connection while leaning into difficult conversations.

VENUS IN TAURUS

Venus moves into Taurus on June 6, infusing us with sensuality, romantic stability, and decadence. Here, Venus is in her natural domicile, and she flourishes. On June 4, she sextiles Jupiter, increasing our amorousness and the ease of love. On June 9, she squares Pluto. Here, we may feel passion, intensity, or relational and financial crises that ultimately lead us to truth and transformation.

MERCURY CONJUNCT JUPITER / IN CANCER

On June 8, Mercury conjoins Jupiter then enters Cancer. This is the final burst of Jupiter in Gemini energy—and we may feel either overwhelming mental clarity or hyper-stimulation. Mercury and Jupiter then enter Cancer together, changing the emphasis of our mental and moral focus. We’re now moving deeper into empathy, emotional connection, and care.

JUPITER IN CANCER

On June 9, Jupiter enters Cancer. New themes for the year emerge, including home, care, family, and protection. In its enlightened form, Jupiter in Cancer beckons us toward compassion, family, and a deep sense of belonging. In its shadow, it can spark nationalism or defensiveness. On June 15, Jupiter squares Saturn, followed by Neptune on June 18. The planets are testing our morality, delusions, and perceptions of reality. We’re redefining our dreams and finding more practical ways to manifest them.

SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON

A Sagittarius Full Moon arrives on June 11, offering visionary clarity and bold movement forward. Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so the energy is extra potent now, with Jupiter changing signs and soon making significant aspects to outer planets. With the Full Moon trining Mars and Chiron, we’re questioning leadership and our direction while deepening into morality, vulnerability, and care, and taking action from there. We’re ready to release faulty beliefs, embracing wisdom and truth over callous intellectualization.

SUN IN CANCER / SOLSTICE

The Sun enters Cancer on June 20, marking the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, winter in the southern. The solstice brings either the longest or shortest day of the year, depending on your hemisphere. Either way, this represents a turning of the light. Jupiter is already in Cancer, and the Sun now joins him, reemphasizing family, nostalgia, belonging, nourishment, and close friends. Hope, optimism, ease, joy, and humor fill the air, supporting us in the midst of great transition. We can pause to heal, feel gratitude, and plant new seeds of fulfillment and connection.

CANCER NEW MOON

A Cancer New Moon forms on June 25, falling conjunct expansive Jupiter. There’s now a sense of overflowing warmth, emotional connection, and care. This is a time for family or chosen family, for gratitude, healing, and looking after and protecting each other. Themes of security, nourishment, and compassion are swelling to the surface, and vulnerability and intimacy are counterbalancing cold logic and political division. We are planting seeds to form close circles that will offer loving support as we face the epic tides of change and revolution ahead.

MERCURY IN LEO

Mercury moves into Leo on June 26, eliciting bolder self-expression. On June 27 and 28, Mercury trines Saturn and Neptune. This is a wildly creative time when we can work on storytelling, writing, and creative projects. It’s also quite romantic, allowing us to ground our dreamy romantic longings with agreements and healthy boundaries. Mercury opposes Pluto on June 29, heralding a time of intense thoughts, powerful conversations, and deep truths rising to the surface. Contention is possible, but the highest expression is that our minds and thoughts are changing and aligning with reality, however painful.

JUNE 2025 ASPIRATION

At the cusp of summer, may we radiate warmth in our hearts and share it with those closest to us. May we form meaningful alliances, generating  a sense of family and nourishment to support us through the sweeping shifts ahead.
