June 9, 2025 — On Monday, Jupiter moves into Cancer, the sign of home, lineage, memory, and emotional truth. Jupiter magnifies all that he touches, bringing a new emphasis each year. The past year in Gemini brought too many words, scattered thoughts, loud voices, and endless information. Now, Jupiter asks us to come home to what feels right. 

What nurtures us, and how do we look out for each other? Who is our family? What makes us feel anchored and safe?

Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. Here, our growth comes from inner security. When we’re protected and nourished, we’ll experience the utmost joy and auspiciousness. Over the next year, we may feel more domestic and more willing to stand in our empathy to defend others.

In its neurotic state, Gemini over-intellectualizes. Now, we’re ready to return to compassion and emotional abundance. This is a time to rebuild trust in ourselves and increase our capacity for kindness. Who needs us now? How can we find happiness in helping one another?

As revolution stirs, we can be sure that we’re rooted in our sensitivity and deep mutual care, offering ourselves to whoever is most vulnerable.

There will be challenges along the way. In mid-June, Jupiter squares Saturn and Neptune, asking us to tether our dreams to something more emotionally real and pragmatic. By autumn, a wave of Grand Water Trines brings grace, softness, and divine support. October and November may feel like a return of faith, offering a deep sense of harmony and alignment—especially if we’ve done the work of grounding.

This transit echoes past cycles—1989, 2001, 2013—when home, family, and belonging were collective themes. With all of the outer planets shifting signs this year, the world is moving rapidly. It’s important that Jupiter in Cancer doesn’t lead us too far into preserving the past or clinging to what we’re meant to release. We are writing new stories and establishing emotional frameworks to hold what comes next. By making sure we all feel warm, safe, and nourished, we can better embrace the tides of change.
