September 10, 2026 — The Virgo New Moon forms on Thursday, closing a very intense eclipse portal. We are now crossing a quiet, powerful threshold. Virgo normally encourages minor tune-ups, but this New Moon requires a fundamental reorganization of our patterns. Virgo notices what's working and what needs adjusting before we can move forward. She presents order, simplicity, and practices that help us return to sanity and good health.

Meanwhile, Mars in Cancer forms a supportive sextile to the New Moon, offering courage and emotional intelligence. We're ready to build something into our lives that actually nourishes us. Issues relating to home, family, work, health, and our daily rhythms could gain momentum. Virgo reminds us that deep transformation is rarely one decision, but the accumulation of small ones, made daily, until we look up and see that the life around us has profoundly changed.

As this New Moon occurs, two personal planets experience simultaneous ingresses—Mercury and Venus. Mercury, ruler of this lunation, crosses into Libra, turning our attention toward agreements, relationships, and finding resolution. At the same time, Venus, Libra’s ruler, moves into Scorpio, pulling us deeper into intimacy, while forcing us to question what we actually want. Venus opposes Chiron, the Wounded Healer, almost immediately after her change of signs, while squaring volcanic Pluto. This is a painful but fruitful moment. The planets are exposing tender places around intimacy, trust, power, and self-worth. We’re ready to make progress in healing and transmuting our relationship patterns, but first we may feel a little vulnerable. Whatever has felt surface or vague is now deepening and exposing itself in the light of truth. Conversations may feel intimate or scary, but we can trust that they’re leading us to greater clarity and growth.

At this point, we don't need to know where the story ends. Meticulous Virgo only asks that we notice what's no longer aligned so we can make the next precise adjustments. As Mercury begins to form a Grand Trine with Uranus and Pluto, the agreements we're making now continue to feel powerful, and perhaps even unexpected. What's healthy and right for us may surprise us, but what matters most is that our choices feel authentic. We can remember that the fear of being seen is something to acknowledge, dance with, and embrace as we continue along the path to healing our self-worth, and ultimately forging more fulfilling connections.
