May 16, 2026 — A gorgeous Taurus New Moon forms on Saturday, conjunct Mercury and Uranus while sextiling expansive Jupiter in Cancer. At the same time, Venus, the chart's ruler, forms a positive angle to Mars. This is one of the more auspicious New Moons of the year—strong, supportive, and just Uranian enough to shift our perception. Opportunities that we've overlooked are suddenly becoming visible. Relationships and potentials that have laid dormant are revealing themselves with quiet yet unmistakable certainty. With a few tweaks and a reframe, we can create something beautiful from what we already have.

The New Moon is exactly conjunct Ceres, goddess of harvest and nourishment. There’s a sense of abundance here—a cup overflowing with gratitude and generosity. What if we already have enough? What if we already are enough? Taurus calls us to slow down and give ourselves time to feel the richness already present in our lives, our bodies, and the Earth herself.

Our wounds are activated now as Mars conjoins Chiron in Aries. Old pain around anger, insecurity, and the wounded masculine rises to the surface, and we may feel tender and exposed. Yet the Taurus Moon offers us something solid to stand on. It asks us to anchor into the body and feel our feet on the ground. From that rooted place, we can meet what hurts us with compassion rather than armor. We are learning so much about ourselves in this season of rapid unfurling. We are quickly becoming more whole.

What does it feel like to honor our wounds rather than fight them? To sink into our bodies and the beauty of being human, fully and tenderly? We are in the midst of a process of massive dislodging and beginning anew that will peak in July. Though the energies are accelerating, we are invited to pause and to love what is, nourish the body, and rest in beauty before the next great wave rises.
