September 1, 2025 — In September, two potent eclipses arrive, compressing our karma. Seasons are changing, the eclipse portal is open, and certain timelines are ready to close. We are standing at a threshold, with one foot in the old world and another reaching toward a new reality.

August elicited our shadows as Pluto’s opposition to the Sun confronted us with our deepest fears and illusions. Now, September beckons us to get to work—taking inventory, rectifying wrongs, and making plans for an imminent rebirth. This process requires both strength and vigilance. No matter how hard it feels, it's important to remember that we can succeed in moving through whatever obstacles we face. More energetic support is available to us than ever before. We only need to stay focused and remain wholeheartedly in our integrity.

Eclipses have a way of speeding up our destiny. Between two eclipses, we enter a vortex where space and time feel warped. It’s a period marked by auspicious coincidences and sudden change. A Pisces Total Lunar Eclipse arrives on September 7, and a Virgo Solar Eclipse follows on September 21. Together, they call us to release the past and embrace a radical future that's still forming. The Virgo-Pisces axis teaches us that we can find flow and transcendence when we mind the details and take care of ourselves—showing up in service to others with devotion and purity. As Mercury and Venus both move into Virgo, our love language becomes humility, decency, and health. Virgo takes our hand and guides us away from Leo’s pleasure-seeking and grandiosity toward subtler, more refined grace.

Meanwhile, Saturn returns to Pisces for one final passage. His presence is extra loud during the drama of eclipse season, forming significant aspects. The karmic hammer is falling as personal, relational, and collective issues culminate with fury. Yet the planets are helping us find our footing with far more ease and precision.

This is the time to trust the process and honor closure. Hard work, honesty, and discipline are non-negotiable this month. The more we embrace them, the more we may experience long-awaited miracles and breakthroughs.

SATURN IN PISCES

On September 1, Saturn dips back into Pisces one last time, reminding us that integration is as important as breakthrough. Loose threads resurface for reflection, healing, and closure. In the midst of eclipse season, Mercury serves as a messenger delivering missing pieces of the puzzle. Conversations fine-tune, insights land, and logic abounds as we begin to see how practical adjustments can anchor the larger shifts.

URANUS RETROGRADE AT 1° GEMINI

On September 6, Uranus pauses at the very beginning of Gemini, turning our gaze inward to reflect on the speed of recent changes. Its exact trine to Pluto in Aquarius reminds us that what is happening now is not random. Even uncertainty, disruption, and chaos are necessary parts of our liberation and tranformation.

PISCES TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE

A Total Lunar Eclipse on the North Node arrives on September 7 at 15° Pisces. This lunation signals beginnings born from deep release. The Pisces Moon in trine to Jupiter in Cancer carries grace, peace, and good fortune, while Mercury’s opposition insists that we stay discerning. This eclipse opens great doors to the future. MERCURY IN LIBRA

VIRGO SOLAR ECLIPSE

On September 21, a Solar Eclipse arrives at the very edge of Virgo, at 29º. Falling on the South Node, this eclipse signals profound endings that lead to rapid evolution. As the eclipse forms opposite Saturn and Neptune, and in trine to Uranus and Pluto, it closes a cycle while anchoring us into a new era. The past is becoming compost for the future. We are integrating lessons, and in doing so, stepping into collective rebirth. Saturn’s dramatic involvement reminds us to stay honest, humble, and moral. It’s not about being good, but about not causing harm. If we’re out of alignment, or if we’ve been careless in how we’ve treated others, this is a time for great reckoning and rectification.

SUN IN LIBRA / EQUINOX

The equinox arrives on September 22, as the Sun enters Libra. The equinox brings balance between day and night, while the Sun’s entrance into Libra, the Scales, initiates a new season. It’s fall in the northern hemisphere, spring in the south, and it both places this moment represents an eruption of color and splendor. This is a moment to seek harmony, cultivate beauty, and embrace the relational half of the zodiac. The wheel is turning its focus from the self onto others. We now enter a season of connection, dialogue, romance, and shared vision. After the calamity of late, balance and peace are welcome respites in the midst of continued discordance, which always accompanies great change.

SEPTEMBER 2025 ASPIRATION

As the light balances with the dark in the heart of eclipse season, may we honor what is complete while welcoming the power of what is just beginning. May we open to the beauty and magic available to us when we tend to our everyday lives and take good care of ourselves and each other.
