December 19, 2025 — The final New Moon of 2025 forms just two days before the solstice. This is the last exhale of the year as the energies prepare to turn. This lunation feels like a threshold rather than a normal beginning. Sagittarius represents the expansive horizon, which we’ve which only been able to glimpse for a long time. Now it feels closer than ever, and we’re deeply preparing for what lies ahead. The Archer teaches us to embrace adventure, novelty, curiosity, and the willingness to grow. From the darkness of winter solstice, this glimmer of Sagittarian light is ready to guide us forward.

The Sagittarius New Moon holds unavoidable tension. Constrictive Saturn forms a challenging square alongside foggy Neptune, subjecting our dreams to a reality check. The planets are testing our beliefs—personal, collective, and ideological. False hopes may falter, while whatever is rooted in truth gains strength. We aren’t abandoning our dreams, but refining them, stripping away fantasy while preserving faith.

Relational and creative dynamics are especially activated under this lunation. Shared futures, mutual ideals, and unspoken agreements may come into focus, revealing where alignment exists and where it does not. This can be uncomfortable, yet also clarifying. Something new wants to take shape, but it requires honesty about what we can no longer carry forward.

This New Moon is a prelude to what’s to come in 2026. It will be a year that finally offers full momentum into a new story. Next year, we are no longer teetering on the edge of a new reality or feeling the frustration of regression—we are finally taking the leap. For now, we stand at the precipice of a larger reimagining, trying to remain steadfast, with our hope intact and our feet firmly planted in reality.
