Mercury stations retrograde today, joining four other planets, marking a rare and densely magical period. With all of the retrogrades, along with Sun in Taurus and Neptune squaring Saturn, time may feel as though it is warping, or at least moving very slowly. We may notice people around us feeling irritable or uncomfortable as the energies within us increase. The purpose of these energies is to pull us inward so we may face and release the parts of ourselves that are our no longer serving us. If we are able to take the leap, we will find this period of incubation to be rich, psychic, and rewarding.
Now is the time to ensure proper footing in all areas of our lives, to connect with pure intention, and to see if our ground is rooted in integrity. We have ample time to consider whether our lives are harmonizing with our ultimate purpose and to make sure we even know what that is. Are we working for ego purposes, or are we working for the benefit of all beings? Are we connecting with the understanding of interdependence, or are we fortifying our egos and our belief in us vs. them? This period is providing a supportive, spacious container to contemplate such questions.
If we are connecting with purity and raising our sights to the bigger picture, the Universe will repay us with many blessings and access to our highest selves. We may feel our psychic abilities amplified or notice many auspicious coincidences occurring now. Old friends and loved ones from past lives may return to us as if we have entered a wormhole. Ultimately, we are able to see just how far we have come while recollecting pieces of our heart and our former selves.
