July 23, 2026 — After a deep, cathartic, emotional three weeks, Mercury finally stations direct in Cancer this Thursday, easing conversations, agreements, and negotiations that may have stalled or gone awry. Confusion and uncertainty are ready to clear as we make sense of this period of reflection and recalibration.

This Mercury retrograde has been particularly potent as the outer planets simultaneously called us into catharsis, release, and renewal. We’ve had to stay present with our emotional states, aware of the watery currents that have been revealing themselves for the sake of purgation. At last, we are feeling much clearer and more on track.

Meanwhile, on July 26, Saturn stations retrograde until December 11. This opens a different kind of season of review and honest assessment—a chance to look carefully at the past several months and make course corrections in more external, practical domains. On every level, we are fully preparing for this changing of the tides.

We are now past the bottom of the bellcurve, heading toward the light. We’ve been ending a years-long period that marks the end of the end. We’ve had to confront all of the structures, beliefs, and narratives that kept us stuck in an old paradigm. As we more firmly enter the beginning of a new era, we can make space for the discomfort of rapid-fire change.

The more willing we are to course-correct and release whatever has been falling away, the more we will feel ease and flow as we embody the next iteration of our selves, lives, relationships, and the world at large.

Scary and exciting at once, the rumblings of fresh energy are shaking us. We can take a moment to appreciate all that’s unfolding, no matter how painful it’s been, trusting that it’s all the precursor to a beautiful and potent opening.
