July 4, 2026 — On Saturday, Mars meets Uranus in Gemini and the temperature spikes. This is a day of sudden developments, nervous system volatility, and genuine instability. Novel ideas and technology are likely, alongside short fuses, scattered attention, and a higher risk of accidents. This conjunction is also forming part of the Cat’s Cradle configuration with Neptune, Pluto, and Jupiter, which is one reason why the breakthrough energy feels so palpable and hard to ignore right now.

Later in the day, Mars sextiles Neptune in Aries, then trines Pluto in Aquarius on July 5. Words and actions carry unusual force now, making discernment especially important. What we say lands. What others say lands too.

On July 6, a square between the Sun in Cancer and Saturn in Aries brings us back to reality and asks us to take responsibility for the last few days. This feels less like a passing lesson and more like a karmic reckoning, a real coming to terms with who we are and what commitments we want to make as we move into this next chapter. How do we want to show up in our lives moving forward?

This is compounded by Mercury retrograde in Cancer and Chiron’s recent move into Taurus, both of which are churning up old wounds, particularly around worth, relationships, and family. Mars conjunct Uranus adds a disorienting, dislodged quality to all of it—it’s heavy and destabilizing at once.

And yet a real opening is on the horizon. Decisions made in haste may be ones we later reverse or regret, so these transits require us to relax and increase our threshold for discomfort. We can embody a sense of security that has nothing to do with other people or outside influences.
