January 1, 2026 — January has arrived, and there's an unmistakable sense that something is moving. We're not just easing our way into the year—we're being initiated. As we look back, we might recognize how deeply our landscapes have changed, and how differently life is asking us to show up.

So much of the past few years has been about dismantling, clearing, dissolving, and stretching our faith to its very edge. Now, we have traction. Yet the tone is sober and focused, requiring ample discernment. As the month unfolds, the future opens wider, becoming more electric and full of possibility.

Rather than fixate on outcomes, we can cultivate what we genuinely want to grow. With greater courage, we're allowing ourselves to reorient as our world takes shape. As this unfolds, chaos quickens. The pace increases when Neptune finally settles into Aries on January 26, with Saturn soon to follow.

As Saturn and Neptune close in on their conjunction, exact on February 20, we're witnessing the dissolution of previous realities in real time. The scattered unrest last year—the spark of revolution and simmer of collective anger—is building toward fuller expression by summer. What once seemed stable is growing more volatile. The stop-starts of the new paradigm have tested us, but now the planets are ready to accelerate timelines. We can meet this moment if we apply hard-won resilience, bravery, and moral clarity.

We're crossing into a new era, not just a new year. Some of this may feel jolting or shocking, especially if we've been resisting change. But if we conjure tender warriorship, we can boldly break through any obstacles that arise. On a spiritual level, it's truly "ready, steady, go!" time. We'll meet challenges more easily as truth begins to emerge and stabilize.

JANUARY 2026 TRANSITS

CANCER FULL MOON

The year opened with a Cancer Full Moon on January 3, lighting up grief, nostalgia, and yearning for a sense of family, home, and belonging. The Moon's dance with Jupiter softens the edges, reminding us of the importance of connection and care, and the joy that follows when we nurture each other. This is a time to notice who and what settles our nervous system—where safety actually lives. We've had insights around the importance of tending to our roots. External striving has no meaning without them.

SUN, VENUS, AND MARS CONJOIN CAPRICORN

From January 6 to 9, a rare alignment forms as the Sun, Venus, and Mars meet in Capricorn. The structure of our lives is shifting. We're recalibrating relationships, creative direction, and purpose. Doors are quietly closing while others open behind them, likely without fanfare. Agreements are changing and clarifying as our desires evolve. We may feel a subtle but unmistakable sense of redirection, as if a deeper intelligence is editing our scripts. We can pay attention to conversations, invitations, and turning points during this window. They carry extra weight. The highest potential of these transits is that we become more mature in determining what and whom we value. What are we ready to commit to more deeply as we step into the next chapter of our lives? If our integrity has wavered, this is the time to adjust course.

VENUS ENTERS AQUARIUS

On January 17, Venus crosses into Aquarius and approaches Pluto, and personal stories become intertwined with the collective. What are our values in our own lives, and what values do we share in humanity? Something deep is ready to transmute as we begin to develop more empathy and better understand our role within the bigger picture. At the same time, relationships are becoming catalysts for a revision of patterns around attachment and power. We're invited to love with more honesty and less fantasy, and to build connections that feel realigned—capable of enduring the radical future we're building.

CAPRICORN NEW MOON

One of the most important lunations of the month arrives on January 18—the Capricorn New Moon. This is when we finally take intention-setting seriously. The New Moon activates every major planetary thread, weaving practical reality with a long-range vision. This is a reset that's linked to work, devotion, and legacy. What actually sustains us? What matters enough to make efforts toward building with patience and integrity? This New Moon is a bridge from what has been to what is forming. Our choices here ripple out far beyond January.

SUN AND MERCURY ENTER AQUARIUS

As the Sun and Mercury join Venus and Pluto in Aquarius on January 19 and 20, our perspective widens. We are beginning to notice patterns and systems as we better understand how personal choices intersect with a collective turning. We might experience downloads, insights, sudden clarity, and, at times, overstimulation. Ground the nervous system. Stay curious. The world is changing quickly, and awareness, presence, and discipline are our anchors.

NEPTUNE RE-ENTERS ARIES

Neptune returns into Aries on January 26, this time committing fully to its long passage. A new myth is taking center stage. Where have we been diminishing our true selves in order to belong? Where have we numbed ourselves, escaped, or drifted? Neptune in Aries reawakens the impulse to participate. We're ready to act, create, and embody our longing rather than only dream about it.

This moment doesn't arrive with fanfare, but from here, the cultural atmosphere shifts unmistakably. Neptune, planet of spirituality and transcendence, unfolds quietly, like the tide turning. But courage, vision, and spiritual sovereignty are becoming defining themes.

Gently but firmly, we are now orienting toward a future that's already forming beneath our feet. Much will continue to unfold, and the pace will quicken. The invitation is to stay honest, awake, and to keep choosing what feels true, even when it requires vigilance and enormous trust.

JANUARY 2026 ASPIRATION

As the quiet of winter settles our minds and softens our nervous systems, may we choose to listen closely and to build what lasts. May we remember that we’re more powerful when we stand together, held by our interconnection and love for all.
