Super New Moon

June 14, 2026 — A Gemini New Moon arrives on Sunday, offering a breath of fresh air after the emotional layers of recent weeks. This is the year's Super New Moon. It’s closer to Earth than any other, so we feel the reset more deeply. Whatever we begin now carries extra potential.

This lunation favors curiosity over certainty. We may start a new project, study something that interests us, or simply have a conversation without an agenda. We don't have to know where things are going yet. That's the point.

Mercury, Gemini's ruler, is now in Cancer. It is moving toward a conjunction with buoyant Jupiter while pulling away from a tense square to Saturn. Our minds are becoming more expansive and heart-centered as the heaviness lifts. We're discovering that our beliefs and the stories we tell ourselves are more powerful than we knew. As we near the Cat's Cradle in July, we're rapidly shifting into new alignments. It's more important than ever to clear our minds and become more intentional around what we're calling in.

Venus is newly in romantic Leo. Here, it opposes Pluto, sextiles the Sun and Moon in Gemini, and trines Neptune—in essence lighting up the Cat’s Cradle. Our relationships and sense of self-worth are transforming rapidly. We're becoming more whole within ourselves, as well and radiant and secure. Combined with Sun and Moon in Gemini, now is the time to feel childlike wonder, social ease, and the pleasure of good company. We're ready to laugh more and celebrate the joy of being human. The planets are lightening our loads and elevating us to our next level of being. We only have to relax enough to receive it.

On this Gemini New Moon, may we loosen the grip of expectation and remember to laugh. May we stay open and steadfast in what we desire, trusting that with clear minds and soft hearts, our paths will lead us to the perfect place.
