December 4, 2025 — A Gemini Full Moon forms on Thursday, marking the final lunation of 2025, and the last of this year's Supermoon trilogy. This is also the highest-rising Full Moon we'll see until 2042, part of a rare astronomical cycle called the Major Lunar Standstill. Against the dark winter sky, the Moon will appear brighter, closer, and more elevated than usual—an apt mirror for the clarity it's meant to provide. Falling along the Gemini-Sagittarius axis, we might feel like we're sifting through information, searching for meaning. Or like we're trying to put words to intuitions or spiritual wisdom that’s been channeling through. The key is to find balance, to match our intellectual minds with our deeper knowing.

Mercury, ruler of this Full Moon, stationed direct on November 29. He now moves through Scorpio in a Grand Water Trine with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces. The Messenger has been retracing his retrograde steps. As he harmonizes with these slower-moving planets, something we've been processing emotionally or psychologically may finally crystallize into finer understanding. Communication has more depth now, as insights arrive through feeling as much as logic. If we've been waiting for clarity to return after the fog of Mercury retrograde, it's now arriving, softer than expected.

Meanwhile, Mars squares Saturn, adding friction. There's a lot of work to be done—effort required, boundaries to negotiate, and ideals meeting the limits of what's possible. But this tension is generative. It asks us to stop talking about what we want and begin building it, even if imperfectly. Venus trines Neptune, lending grace and expanded love. Whatever is concluding now holds tenderness and release. The year is asking for completion.

What stories are we ready to close? What chapter has finally run its course?

The Gemini Full Moon illuminates the mental realm—our thoughts, words, and patterns of perception. It shines light on the narratives we've been telling ourselves, inviting us to examine which ones still serve and which have become too limiting. This is a Moon of endings that feel more like exhalations, of finally saying what needs to be said, and trusting that we know more than we think we do.
