September 24, 2016 — Mercury stationed direct this Thursday, the same day as the Fall Equinox. As we shift into a new season, we are also undergoing big shifts in our thought and communication patterns. With Pluto trining Mercury this week, we may have experienced communication intensity or breakthroughs. Telepathy and powerful fixation have also been themes, along with unexpected visits from old friends or loves.  

What a perfect segue into our year-long placement of Jupiter in Libra, which began September 9. This cycle is all about restoring harmony to relationships, and what better way than to examine communication and previous connections? Joining together with the Sun, Jupiter is now pushing our souls to expand and harmonize, and to find balance from our extremes. Perhaps we return to center after a powerful relationship swings us into clingy despair; perhaps we move further into unconditional love as we release expectation and codepedency.

This process might feel very uncomfortable—with Pluto in the mix, it may even feel like dying. But the truth is, as we continue expanding outward, parts of our ego will die and fall away, which is the natural process of awakening. With the bright, expansive light of the Sun and Jupiter shining on our shameful corners, our work now is to feel whatever arises without fear, and to accept ourselves exactly as we are. After all, the journey of harmonizing any relationship begins with self love.
