December 1, 2025 — As December begins, we’re finally out of a shadowy retrograde season. Momentum is gaining quickly as a stellium forms in fiery Sagittarius, reinvigorating us. Relationships sharpen into focus, conversations feel more honest than ever, and the final movements of the Pisces-Aries era glimmer beneath everything. There’s a sense that we’re tying together threads of an entire year’s worth of transformation while new storylines hum in the background.

The first stretch of the month is marked by a beautiful Grand Water Trine. Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Pisces, and Mercury in Scorpio form a perfect triangle, offering coherence, spiritual support, and a rare feeling that something is finally ready to click into place. Projects are gaining steam, truth is surfacing with clarity, and emotional intelligence is easily accessible.

By mid-month, the tone shifts. Restlessness stirs, and information moves too fast. Mercury and Lilith oppose shocking Uranus, exposing secrets. Confusion is a necessary part of our sorting process. We’re shedding old skin and decluttering our minds in order to feel refreshed.

As we approach the solstice, intensity arrives, presenting roadblocks that force us to grow. The Sun and Venus square stern Saturn, forcing reality checks. Integrity, commitment, and hard work are now essential. Luckily, the holidays are also touched with deep spiritual resonance and increased capacity for connection, compassion, and forgiveness. Venus, Neptune, and Chiron weave tenderness through the chaos.

December is demanding and clarifying, yet strangely beautiful. We’re defining our values, direction, goals, and plans of action, healing our hearts and melting into love as we cross the threshold into a new year.

DECEMBER 2025 TRANSITS

VENUS SEXTILE PLUTO

On December 2, Venus sextiles Pluto, and relationships deepen. Truth rises to the surface, and emotional intimacy takes on a sharper, more honest edge. Conversations that once felt impossible now open naturally, allowing old wounds to air and new understandings to form.

GEMINI FULL MOON

A Full Moon forms in Gemini on December 4, offering a bright release point for revelations to arise and mental fog to clear. This lunation supports difficult communication, allowing for truth telling and the articulation of what’s been buried beneath the surface.

GRAND WATER TRINE (MERCURY-JUPITER-SATURN)

On December 6 and 7, a Grand Water Trine forms between Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn. A window of flow, coherence, and real-world progress opens. Anything that requires structure, discipline, or emotional maturity is supported. We are seeding long-term developments and chiseling our plans for the future, infused with both optimism and pragmatism.

MARS SQUARE SATURN

Mars squares Saturn on December 8, and we may experience frustration, delays, ego bruises, and a forced recalibration of expectations. The key is adjusting our pace and strategy rather than pushing harder.

MERCURY CONJUNCT LILITH, OPPOSITE URANUS, TRINE NEPTUNE

On December 10, Mercury conjoins Lilith while opposing Uranus and trining Neptune. Unrest, psychic openings, intuitive downloads, and a flood of information arrive. This is a destabilizing yet wildly clarifying time, when premonitions, intuitions, and flashes of insight abound.

MARS SQUARE NEPTUNE; MARS IN CAPRICORN

On December 14, Mars squares Neptune, bringing moments of disorientation and depletion. Soon after, Mars enters Capricorn, giving way to new determination and resolve. Discipline returns, along with the instinct to rebuild.

SUN SQUARE SATURN

The Sun squares Saturn on December 16, offering a sober, laser-focused reality check. We’re asked to accept limits, take responsibility, and work with what’s real rather than fantasized.

SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON

A Sagittarius New Moon forms on December 19, offering a renewal of faith, vision, and deep meaning. This lunation carries a desire for truth, purpose, and inner reorientation. If Saturn has been making us feel hopeless, overwhelmed, or depressed, this New Moon offers a glimmer of excitement for what’s to come. Hopefulness, buoyancy, and humor ease the burden of our responsibilities.

SOLSTICE + SUN IN CAPRICORN,
VENUS + SUN SQUARE SATURN/NEPTUNE

On December 21, the winter solstice arrives in the northern hemisphere, and summer in the southern. This marks a turning of the light. We are at a pressure-filled pivot point. Our relationships and dreams are challenged, fantasies dissolve, and we may meet the emotional and spiritual consequences of unrealistic expectations. This is a test that leads to greater maturity and anchoring.

VENUS SQUARE NEPTUNE; VENUS IN CAPRICORN

Venus squares Neptune on December 23, and then enters Capricorn on December 24. A longing for devotion, stability, and spiritual love softens the holiday season. The line between true connection and fantasy thins, while beauty, nostalgia, and tenderness run high.

MERCURY TRINE CHIRON

Mercury trines Chiron on December 27, encouraging integration as the planets of communication and healing support each other. This is a time for kind and supportive words, compassionate dialogue, and repairing misunderstandings.

MERCURY SQUARE SATURN

On December 29, Mercury squares Saturn. This is a final graduation moment around communication, commitment, and responsibility after a month of hard lessons. Words now carry weight, and dialogues may feel challenged. To find clarity, discipline and integrity are required in spades.

DECEMBER 2025 ASPIRATION

As we settle into winter and darkened skies, may we harness discipline and humility, while generating excitement for the future. May we prepare for a new year with courage and inspiration, recognizing that our dreams can easily become real with dedication, perseverance, and devotion.
