January 3, 2025 — The Cancer Full Moon arrives on Saturday, lighting up the sign of family, nostalgia, and tenderness. This is the first lunation of the year, offering a fresh swell of release. With Jupiter close by, we may feel joy in connecting to home and our roots, and in quieting down to feel the support of those closest to us.

Venus and Mars lie on either side of the Capricorn Sun, and subtle passion is stirring, especially as they fall opposite the Moon and Jupiter. While love and desire are present, they're connected to our yearning for deeper attachment, closeness, care, and familiarity. What feels truly nurturing to us? That's what sparks our flame now.

The duty of family feels expansive rather than burdensome. We're beginning the year by recommitting to what and whom we hold dear. We're taking the time to create structures and plans so we can anchor both practically and emotionally. This feels especially helpful as we prepare for the rapid growth ahead in a catalytic 2026.

For now, it's time to become softer and more intentional, clearer in our hearts, and pragmatic with our next steps. So much is ready to move.
