The Aries New Moon arrives on Sunday, at 7:30pm Pacific Time, joining a stellium of planets in the same sign. New Moons always spark new beginnings. Falling in the first sign of the zodiac, this lunation is offering a supercharged fresh start. We are truly kicking off the astrological New Year, initiating projects while stepping into the next versions of ourselves. 

What will be our focus over the next year? What does our inner child yearn for? 

This New Moon sextiles Mars and Saturn while squaring Pluto in Capricorn. Old fears could now emerge, forcing us to meet our demons with bravery, slaying dragons that we’ve been too afraid to even face. It’s time to transform old blockages into wisdom and embrace our new paths. 

Meanwhile, we may experience disruption, confusion, and recalibration around our relationships and relationship patterns. We’re uncovering our true desires, while rooting out self-sabotage and directly confronting obstacles that have felt hidden or obscured. Fighting and aggression are possible, especially with Mars out of bounds—but so are profound breakthroughs. 

Luckily, the planets are infusing us with motivation, willpower, and ample support. We can take this time to reflect on what we want, generating enthusiasm and joy as we work toward achieving our goals. 

Aries is the sign of boldness and courage. This is not the time to waver in indecision, but to break out of our shells and longstanding ruts. With clarity, strength, and resolve, we can stand up for ourselves and feel more confident in who we are. We are leaving behind lethargy, fantasy, and uncertainty. Infused with Aries warriorship, we can feel the motivation to leap towards the lives and relationships we yearn for.
