July 29, 2026 — The Aquarius Full Moon forms on Wednesday, opening the last eclipse portal of the year, with a Total Solar Eclipse in Leo arriving in two weeks. The Sun and Jupiter form an exact cazimi in Leo while the Moon rises opposite them alongside volcanic Pluto. And all of this sits inside the wide net of activating outer planetary sextiles and trines that I've been calling the Cat's Cradle. There are enormous blessings pouring through us from the outer planets right now, but Pluto's opposition means that we don't receive any of them without first visiting the shadowy underworld. The gifts arrive when we surrender to this fraught journey and embrace it.

We are undergoing deep work to purge, liberate, and transcend so that we can elevate to the next version of ourselves. It's important not to interpret whatever falls apart as a problem. This is a massive, ongoing slingshot into the next phase, and the tension we feel is the pull before release.

We can welcome any painful events that have transpired over the past few weeks as exactly what we need to witness in order to transform. Even the people who have triggered us are reflecting back the places that we need to heal.

Aquarius is the sign of freedom and authenticity. Whatever is blocking these qualities—especially the ego, amplified by the Leo Sun—we must now confront and transcend. The same is true on the world stage, where an old order, outworn systems of power, and frameworks of thinking are collapsing to make way for something more Aquarian, loving, and egalitarian.

With Chiron newly in Taurus and cutting straight through the Cat's Cradle, we are facing our self-doubt and strained relationship to the planet, beginning the painful journey of healing them. Western society has taught us that we weren't enough so that we would consume more. It was a mechanism of control used against us. If we heal our worthiness, we can heal society at large. If we heal our connection to the earth, we can heal ourselves.

Vanity, narcissism, greed, unhealthy pride, fear, shame, self-sacrifice, control, manipulation, and addiction are some of the shadows that we are forced to face now. If we can open to the discomfort rather than brace against it, inviting our demons to the table as honored guests, liberation is available. The ultimate awakening is in recognizing that there's no difference between pain and pleasure, heartbreak and love, sadness and joy. We can see that it is all one beautiful feast. If we open to this feast, we come into awareness of our true nature—which is vast and relaxed and profound and utterly ordinary at the same time. We see that we are always interconnected with everything. This awareness dissolves our illusory stories, and from there, the great bliss of each precious moment carries us in free fall to the next. We finally see that heaven was right here all along.

AQUARIUS FULL MOON ASPIRATION

On this Aquarius Full Moon, may we welcome our shadows as honored guests, embracing their wisdom and loving the parts of ourselves that they represent. May we surrender to whatever we cannot control, trusting that all that has been falling apart is leading us to our liberation.
