March 10, 2024 — A Pisces New Moon forms on Sunday, opening the eclipse portal—the first eclipse of the season arrives in two weeks. Pisces reminds us to return to love and surrender to our divinity, wholeness, interconnection, and forgiveness. Falling between Saturn and Neptune—a conjunction that becomes exact in 2025—we may be feeling fatigue or burnout. Meanwhile, a square between Mars and Uranus is exact on March 9 and 10, further rattling us.

Much feels out of our control. What can we do to soften our hearts and rest? Meditation, baths, massages, aimless wanders through nature, especially near bodies of water, can help us embrace our higher selves and truth. Reconnecting with our spirituality is essential.

With Mars squaring Uranus during this New Moon, the planets are giving us two different messages. The first is to rest and go easy on ourselves; the second is to rally our courage to initiate change and rebel against what no longer serves us. In a way, we are fighting for peace and awakening while becoming more loving, courageous, compassionate, authentic, and straightforward. We’re learning to ground and slow down, calming our nervous systems and becoming more deliberate as we experience wild waves of impulsivity and reaction.

While these energies may feel disruptive, fresh action IS needed, and the planets are encouraging revolution and reinvention. If we’ve been holding back truth or harboring resentment, we may find ourselves bursting forth in surprising, direct expressions of irritation and candor.

This lunation forms a sextile to Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, inching closer together. Breakthroughs are likely, and fresh possibilities, ideas, and hope could strike like lightning. We will know how to harness these electric jolts by relying on our deepening maturity, wisdom, and compassion.
