September 30, 2016 — Today is a New Moon in Libra—the first since Jupiter also entered Libra, where it will remain for thirteen months. This next year is defined by relationships and harmony, and today's New Moon is particularly potent for setting the tone and for manifesting the types of relationships and creative endeavors we really want. The way we can do this is by conjuring the feelings we would like to experience, rather than specifics. We can let go of a particular face, person, home, or project, and stick with the underlying heart intention, the feelings of love and expression that we would like to bring forth.

This New Moon is also supporting inner harmony as we are faced with mirrors presented by our relationships, exposing where we need to improve in order to have more ease and space—where we need to love ourselves more, where we need to communicate better, and release our codependency and reactiveness. With Libra's beautiful balancing, our aggression is softening, the masculine is becoming more sensitive and open, and the feminine is stepping further into freedom and power.

Personally, I’ve been feeling so much arising around love and relationships. I’ve been really contemplating the meaning of love, and it seems to me that true love is realizing that any afflicted emotions we feel are our own... that we must make a point of letting them go until the only thing we feel for another is love. No expectations, no need for answers, no desire to control. Just love.
