April 8, 2024 — The total solar eclipse forms in Aries on Monday, visible across North America. This eclipse falls on the north node conjunct Chiron, the Wounded Healer, encouraging us to touch our deepest wounds and heal. Meanwhile, Mars, the ruler of Aries, aligns with strict Saturn in Pisces. Karmic reckonings abound, and we may experience major obstacles, blockages, challenges, or frustrations that lead to growth.

Karmic retribution is especially pronounced for leaders. Traditionally, a solar eclipse represents the falling of a king if there’s an imbalance of power. In general, much has been shifting inside the eclipse vortex over the past two weeks around power and war. Tragic events have further amplified and exposed painful truths. How everything shakes out is still uncertain and may become clearer when Jupiter and Uranus meet on April 20, sparking abrupt change, progress, and hope.

The archetype of the tender warrior is prominent with this Aries solar eclipse. We’re figuring out how to meet the horrors of the world with strong backs, clear minds, and tender hearts. Our lives are ready to drastically alter, and we’re joining together to reinvent humanity—to break out of long-standing beliefs, lies, and dynamics that have caused harm to many for the benefit of a few.

In our personal lives, we’re clarifying our desires before the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction arrives, which holds epic potential for manifestation. We’re working through deep childhood traumas, unresolved anger, and ancestral wounds to fully stand in our strength and wholeness. A solar eclipse is an amplified New Moon, so fresh starts are imminent. As the Moon crosses the Sun, we are wiping our slates clean and experiencing powerful new beginnings. Grace, redemption, and fearlessness in meeting our pain are key. We are now ready to emerge from the chrysalis with newfound resilience, clarity, and freedom.

Eclipse season continues for another two weeks, and we can expect more twists and turns to shift the course of our trajectories and lives. Further breakthrough is inevitable if we remain steadfast, facing truth with courage and embracing the exponential growth and evolution that are now underway.
